College of Oil and Gas Engineering Organizes a Workshop Titled "Photovoltaic Solar System as an Alternative Solution to Household and Neighborhood Electricity Generator in Iraqi Houses"

This morning, on the seventh of April, the College of Oil and Gas Engineering organized a workshop titled "Photovoltaic Solar System as an Alternative Solution to Household and Neighborhood Electricity Generator in Iraqi Houses," presented by Dr. Haifa Rahim Abdul Karim, a lecturer in the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering. The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College of Oil and Gas Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Amir Jassim, and a distinguished group of faculty members and college staff. The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the steps to reduce the impact of global warming and climate change and to provide an idea about the possibility of applying a solar cell system to supply electricity at home instead of private or household generators.
