Graduate Description
The duration of study in the department is four years, after which the graduate is awarded a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. This equips the graduate to work in their field of specialization, such as the industrial sector, where they will be involved in the design, operation, development, and maintenance of various industrial processes. These include oil and gas production and refining, the manufacturing of various chemicals and petrochemicals, the production of metals such as iron and aluminum, paper manufacturing, food and pharmaceutical industries, water desalination and treatment processes, and industries based on biochemistry, among other broad fields of work.
