مخرجات التعلم للمادة الدراسية

On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to:

LO1    communicate effectively in a modern technical environment.

LO2    construct and present quality engineering drawings in a well drafted manner.

LO3    present correct lettering, figures and dimensions to a defined style and standard.

LO4    produce detailed of Engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

LO5    Use the principles of orthographic projections.

LO6   By studying about projections of solids students will be able to visualize three dimensional objects and that will enable them to design new products.

LO7 Design and fabricate surfaces of different shapes.

LO8 Represent the objects in three dimensional appearances.

Learning and Teaching Strategies

استراتيجيات التعلم والتعليم

Strategies

- The lectures will include the presentation by using PowerPoint, videos and other software tools.

- The whiteboard will be used to further explain to the lectures.

- The practical tasks will be done in the drawing hall. During those practice excises

students can work together in small groups in order to improve their knowledge together.

- During the lecture, the students will be encouraged to speak English language only.

- The students will get further information reference to expand their knowledge

- Attend class and respect class disciplines.

-  Ask questions, defining problems and suggest a solution.

-  Participate in group discussion and prepare a report.

- Use Power Point presentations, simulations and videos to support the teaching.

- Arrange site visits to drafting/architectural firms, fabrication/construction companies and suppliers of drawing equipment, tools.

- Students can present their findings in class.

- Monitor the completion and validate against established standards and requirements and also give students structured feedback.

- Give exercises to discuss in group.

-Give individual exercise and follow-up them.

- Order the students to prepare objects from the given 2D drawing.

Note: Marks Decimal places above or below 0.5 will be rounded to the higher or lower full mark (for example a mark of 54.5 will be rounded to 55, whereas a mark of 54.4 will be rounded to 54. The University has a policy NOT to condone "near-pass fails" so the only adjustment to marks awarded by the original marker(s) will be the automatic rounding outlined above.
