The Department of Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering was established in Basra University of Oil and Gas in 2013. The establishment of the Department is in line with the rapid growth in the field of oil and gas and the general industrial sector in Iraq and the region and the growing demand for chemical engineers in the local and global market.
